Jeannie Lin
Jeannie Lin - DBTV Correspondent
Born and raised in Boston, MA, Jeannie's addiction to dragon boating began along the banks of the Charles River in 1998 when a friend asked her to fill a seat for a local team. An avid kayaker at the time, Jeannie assumed this would be a leisurely "canoe ride," but soon discovered it offered the same water-induced adrenalin - minus the danger of kissing boulders. Hooked from that point on, Jeannie joined the troupe of die hard Bostonians to as many races as possible, racing with teams from New York and New Jersey until Boston established its own club in 2001. Through the years, Jeannie has coached local teams, as well as served on the staff of the Boston Dragon Boat Festival and the board of the Dragon Boat Club of Boston.
On land, Jeannie is usually found in the studio honing her acting skills on films and plays, or at home spoiling her pets. Jeannie currently resides in Pasadena, CA and paddles with the Southern California Dragon Boat Club.
