David Norrie - DBTV Correspondent

I was born in North Miami and lived throughout various parts of South Florida until I ventured off to college in Tallahassee at Florida State. While at FSU, I studied communications and worked in radio doing the news and productions.

After college I got into fitness training and became a certified personal trainer as well as a certified spinning instructor.

Over the last 10 years I have worked at three of the largest newspapers in Florida, the Miami Herald, The Tampa Tribune and the St Pete Times. I pen a health and fitness column in the St Pete Times called Give Me 10. I also write the "He Said" portion of TBT's He Said/She Said Column.

I am a huge fan of nature, outdoor sports such as water skiing and snow skiing as well as fitness and body shaping. My greatest passion is music and how it shapes my mood and my life. I love all types of music from big band, to reggae to hip hop, to Latin, pretty much anything with a beat that I can move to. In my spare time I enjoy wine tasting and Latin dancing.

I am single and the youngest of four children and I've been living in Tampa since 2001. I am also a volunteer Big Brother for the Tampa chapter of Big Brothers/Big Sisters. As you can see I have done a lot, but nothing can compare to action I'll see on this 2007 Dragon Boat Tour. That's it for now. I'll see you at the races!
